Special to The Vindicator: New officers of the Polish Arts Club of Youngstown, who were installed Nov. 16 at Brier Hill Cultural Center, 145 Jefferson St., Youngstown, are, from left, Alice J. Morrow, treasurer; Stanley Gerchak, vice president; Sandra Cika, president; and Thomas Welsh, secretary. Mary Ann Mlynarski, outgoing president, conducted the installation. The club, founded by educator Florence Turowski with support of industrialist and philanthropist Joseph Butler Jr., will mark its 80th anniversary in 2015. It promotes the culture and fine arts of Poland.
