Austintown Junior Women’s League had an Evening with Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini event on Aug. 16. Guests enjoyed food, photos and a live auction of the boxer’s memorabilia. Items included his wine, sparring gloves and copies of his book, “The Good Son.” Proceeds benefit the AJWL’s scholarship fund. At left is Ryan Simpson, winner of the auction of the sparring gloves.
