SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Bonnie Naman, a member of That Quilt Group I Belong To in Canfield, recently presented a patriotic quilt to Jan Seidler, business development coordinator of Hospice of the Valley. The quilt will be used by military service members who are patients at Hospice House in Poland. The quilt group also creates quilts for terminally ill patients at Hospice House. TQGIBT will sponsor a Quilt Happening from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 10 at Fair Park, 30 Parkside Circle, in Canfield. Shirley Stutz, nationally known machine quilter, will teach freehand machine quilting. The cost is $35 per person with lunch included. Reservations are required. Call 330-538-3559.
