Beatitude House will host its 15th annual wine taste and auction at 5:30 p.m. May 2 at The Embassy, 5030 Youngstown-Poland Road, in Boardman. Committee members preparing for the event are Janet Murray, left; Julia Pisansky, Beatitude House; Karen Stazak; Mary Jo Kubiak; Casey Bertolette, Beatitude House; and Marion Dunham. Girard Machine and The Muransky Companies are the platinum sponsors. Jeff Kelly from Oldies 106.1 will host the evening, and it will include a dinner buffet, an array of premium wines, a live auction by Basinger Auction Service, and a silent and ticket auction. Two round-trip airline tickets to anywhere in the U.S. compliments of Boardman Discount Travel will be raffled. Beatitude House serves disadvantaged women and children by finding homes, providing educational opportunities and fostering healthy families to help transform lives.
