SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Rotary Club of Austintown provided the opportunity March 31 for some Fitch students to spend a day with professionals in their field of interest. Alexis Saunders, left, a member of Fitch Interact Club, spent time with Dr. Courtney O’Neil at the Mahoning Valley Veterinary Clinic in Mineral Ridge. The event is part of Rotary’s focus on vocational education and takes place annually. After spending time with their hosts, students and mentors attended the noon meeting of Rotary Club of Austintown at the Saxon Club and discussed their observations for the day. Weekly meetings take place at the Saxon Club with President Mark Cole presiding. Prospective members can call Cole at 330-720-0381.
