SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Struthers Rotary is sponsoring its 58th annual pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Struthers High School Cafeteria, 111 Euclid Ave., Struthers. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. There will be a 50-50 raffle to benefit Operation Warm, and flu shots will be available. Boy Scout Troop 101 and Struthers High School Interact Club will assist with the breakfast. Above in front, from left, are Olivia Torisk, Lindsey Opritza, Alexa Bayus and Kelsey Agnone, Interact officers. In the second row are Catherine Cercone, Rotary Community Corp. president; Tom Baringer, pancake chairman; Don Gabriele, Rotary treasurer; and Jim Martin, Rotary president. Information will be available on the newly formed Senior Citizen Watch.

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Yellow Brick Place, a future cancer wellness center for the Mahoning Valley, recently netted more than $11,000 at a fashion show fundraiser. Participants, in front from left, are Cara Carramusa holding Lucia White, Salvi Carramusa, Keaton Kimble, Katlyn Kimble, Ava Wilson, Madison McGuire and Gemma White. In back are Gerry Hively, Maria Wilson, Sophia Detwiler, Henry Detwiler, Grace Stone and Halley Enyeart. The center hopes to open its doors in the fall of 2014. For information about the center visit www.yellowbrickplace.org.
