SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Members of the board of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society and of the Men’s Garden Club of Youngstown planted two Princeton variety elm trees earlier this month at the Arms Family Museum, 648 Wick Ave., Youngstown. The trees, donated by Dellaquadri Landscaping, are the first two the garden club is planting to reintroduce the species. Dutch elm disease is responsible for the demise of the uniquely American tree. From left are Dr. William J. Cleary, president of MVHS board of directors; Bill Lawson, MVHS executive director; Bob Calcagni, MVHS board; and Larry Tooker, Men’s Garden Club.
