Amaryllis Rivera, a third-grader at Martin Luther King Elementary School, gives a Mother’s Day card to Metlean Singleton, a resident at Danridge Burgundi Manor nursing home on Youngstown’s East Side. The schoolchildren also sang songs and read poems Thursday.
