Lowellville Rod and Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road, presented Matthew Horner with a check for $500 to use for his studies in environmental protection at West Virginia University. Struthers Rotary recently announced the recipients of its $500 scholarships for 2013 from Struthers High School. From left are Tom Baringer, Rotary president; this year’s winners, Alyssa Gage, Art Gioglio and Anthony Lariccia; and Joe Nohra, Struthers superintendent. Steve Seifert is this year’s recipient of the $500 William Comstock Scholarship. Comstock was a Struthers teacher, board member, Rotarian and businessman.
