Traffic congestion is heavy along U.S. Route 224 at Interstate 680 because 224 has been cut down to one lane in each direction. Drivers are being told to avoid the intersection if possible. ODOT will widen the bridge over I-680, replace a culvert on 224 east of I-680 and make changes to the 224 and I-680 interchange.
