Haylie Rotz, 12, holding her recently shorn locks, donated her hair to Locks of Love on June 15 for the sixth time. She began donating when she was 2. Haylie is the daughter of John and Lisa Rotz of Lowellville, and the granddaughter of William and Julie Brozman and Stephen and Lucille Gocala. Locks of Love helps disadvantaged children 18 and under with medical conditions by providing hairpieces that help restore their self-esteem and confidence. Hair donation guidelines are available at www.locksoflove.org.

Boardman Lions Club installed officers for the 2013-2014 term when the club celebrated its 45th charter anniversary June 20 at Cafe 422 in Boardman.
