SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Aut Mori Grotto recently sent 22 members to Orlando, Fla., for a national clown competition. As a group, they won five first-place and two second-place awards. Kneeling are Glen (Harlee) McClain, left, and Alan (It’s So) Boles; and standing, from left, are Joe (Woodee) Humansky, George McClelland, Jay (JJ) Lasasso, Robert (Who Me) Edwards, Charles (Crackers) Graham and Jesse (Pokey) Boles. Alan Boles won first place in the character clown competition; Humansky won first place in the Auguste cagetory and first place in the balloon skit division; Jesse Boles won first place and Lasasso second place in the white face competition; and Edwards won first place and Graham won second place in the tramp clown competition.
