Trumbull Senior Production Co. recently received an award of $1,200 from the endowment fund of Living Lord Lutheran Church in Howland, presented by Dr. Richard Baringer, chairman of the fund. The Downtown Kiwanis Club met Nov. 15 and learned about the No Stone Unturned Foundation, established by the speaker and her husband. Dr. Melinda Wolford and Eric Wolford, Youngstown State University football coach, started the foundation after their son, Stone, was diagnosed at age 2 with cardio-facio-cutaneous syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. The foundation provides support for patients and families touched by CFC and other debilitating illnesses, raises awareness by providing information, and promotes aggressive research on ways to enhance their lives.
