Youngstown-Warren Black Nurses Association will have its annual scholarship brunch from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Brentford House, 737 Myron St. SE, Hubbard. The event is titled “Do You Know Your Numbers?” and focuses on blood pressure, cholesterol and blood-glucose numbers. Speakers will be Dr. LaShale Pugh and Felicia Alexander. There also will be a basket auction. Association members, standing from left, are Olla Tate, Sandra Abrams and Carole DuBose. Seated are Wayna Hightower, Esther McCain and Brenda Averhart. Absent from the photo is Lynn Hines, chapter president and scholarship chairwoman. The cost of admission is $20.
