Austintown Community Church Preschool Childcare Center will host its annual Trash & Treasure Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 31 in the upstairs auditorium of the Education Wing at Austintown Community Church, 242 S. Canfield-Niles Road. Tables are available by contacting the preschool office at 330-793-1843 through March 28. There also will be a large variety of specialty basket raffles including lawn and garden; summer fun for kids; games and family fun; arts and crafts for kids; red, white and blue; and paws and claws. Light snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. Proceeds will go toward the purchase of developmentally appropriate classroom educational materials. For information call the office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the above number. GFWC/Ohio Warren Junior Women’s League committee is planning the third annual Taste of Trumbull at 6 p.m. April 25 at the Eastwood Expo Center in Niles. Guests will receive a “taste” of signature dishes provided by area chefs, caterers, restaurants and cooking entrepreneurs. There also will be door prizes, basket raffles, a 50-50 and entertainment by Wet Lemon & Brotha T. The event benefits the Life Enrichment Activities Program of Trumbull County and supports its summer camp enrichment program. Anyone interested in participating, donating an auction item or purchasing tickets for $25 can call Molly Halliday at 330-980-6641.
