Dr. Douglas Musser, left, and his son, Robbie, collected $5,000 from people who enjoyed their elaborately decorated home this past December. An estimated 11,000 cars passed by the light display, which included a supersized Christmas tree, thousands of feet of lights, music and Santa in an upstairs window. Dr. Musser stationed friends and family near his street Dec. 23, 24 and 25 to collect donations for the Rich Center, where Robbie was a student for two years. They presented the donation, in memory of Nick Shurilla Sr., a family friend who recently passed away, to Rich Center Director Georgia Backus and Associate Director Renee McConnell, far right.
