Three Youngstown State University seniors are refurbishing a mural on the side of a building adjacent to Avalon Gardens on Belmont Avenue. Avalon owner Jim Donofrio, second from left, wanted to revive the artwork and asked the students, from left, Evan James of Boardman, Valerie Nichols of Austintown and Derek Dickey of Canfield, for their expertise.
