Amy Neral, the Hubbard Public Library’s teen librarian, holds “Of Mice and Men” and “Animal Farm,” two books that have been banned or challenged in several libraries and schools over the years. The library will join the country for a banned-book reading from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in Harding Park.
