Pep rally opens season: Victory Christian School in Niles had a pep rally in the school gym to open the 2011-2012 volleyball season. After an introduction of the team, the staff and students had a serving competition in which Mrs. Beckenbach, Kristina Sweeny and Aaron Sloan won for their team by 2 points.
