Thomas Hacon, left, of Austintown makes popcorn at his booth at the Canfield Fair. The octogenarian has been making popcorn at the fair for nearly 20 years. His machine is powered by compressed air and LP gas, patterned after a steam machine he saw when he was a boy. He gives samples away. At right, Richard Peters helps out.
