A warm welcome: The installation of officers and trustees who will head Salem Historical Society in 2011 took place at the March meeting. Installed by Robert Guehl, former society officer, were David Shivers, president; Judi Allio, vice president; Judy White, recording secretary; April Trenkelbach, treasurer; and Dixie Gordon, corresponding secretary; Nancy Fediaczko, Joan Lora and Bill Ward, trustees for three-year terms; Alice Deatherage, trustee for a one-year unexpired term; Janice Lesher, curator; and David Stratton, director. Following her induction, Deatherage was welcomed by Shivers, who will be serving his seventh term as president.
