Don Hutchison, left, is sworn in by Judge Scott Hunter as the new chief of Cardinal Joint Fire District, which serves the city of Canfield and Canfield Township. Hutchison joined the district in 1989 and worked with former Chief Robert J. Tieche until Tieche’s death in May. The ceremony was Monday.
