Lions Club scholarship: The Youngstown Lions Club recently presented a scholarship to Leetonia High School graduate Tabatha Turney, above left, who will attend Youngstown State University. The award is in memory of Rita Merz, who was an outstanding member of the Lions. The club also presents two other annual scholarships to students attending YSU. Included in the photo are Merz’s sister, Rita, and Heather Belgin, president of Youngstown Lions Club.
