Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley will benefit from the Aut Mori Grotto Monarch’s Golf Outing, scheduled for July 23 at Lakeside Golf Course, 2404 S.E. River Road, Lake Milton. Walk to End Alzheimer’s: Helen Paes, left, community development director for the Greater East Ohio Area Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, spoke recently to the Rotary Club of Austintown, led by President Deanna Spirko, right. Paes discussed the Walk to End Alzheimer’s scheduled for Sept. 24 at Courthouse Square in Warren and Oct. 8 at Boardman Park. She said the purpose of the walk is to draw attention to the disease, the sixth leading cause of death in the United States. Ursuline Center Car Trunk Sale: More than 70 vendors have signed up for the Ursuline Center’s Annual Car Trunk & Treasure Sale, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 23 at the center, 4280 Shields Road, Canfield. The Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown will sell goods inside the center, and a public sale will go on in the parking lot. Food also will be for sale. Attendance is free, indoor rest rooms are available, and security will be on-site. All proceeds will support the ministries of the sisters at the center.
