SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR | Benefit for humane society: The Paws-R-Riding-On-It Poker FUNDrun will take place Saturday to benefit the Humane Society of Columbiana County. Entry fee is $15 per couple or $10 for single riders. Registration begins at 10 a.m. at the Steel Trolley Diner in Lisbon and ends with all bikes out at noon. Stops include the Stagecoach Inn in North Georgetown, BB Rooners in Salem and the Original Roadhouse in East Palestine with a return to Guilford Lake Grille in Lisbon. Featured will be guitarist Dave Morgan, boccie, a basket auction, event T-shirts, pull tabs and Best Poker Hand Draw. The event’s main sponsor is Carole’s Daycare of Wellsville.
