2011 AGF Scholarship presented: Jacob Eynon and his mother, Melissa, receive the Austintown Growth Foundation Scholarship from Joyce Pogany, left, scholarship committee chairwoman, and AGF President David Ditzler, right. The award was presented at the foundation’s August meeting. Jacob will attend the University of Akron this fall, pursuing a degree in civil engineering. He maintained a 3.89 GPA, lettered three years in varsity baseball and was a member of Key Club and National Honor Society.
