Proceeds go to No Stone Unturned: Greenwood Chevrolet’s 16th annual golf outing in July at Bedford Trails Golf Course in Lowellville raised $2,838 for the No Stone Unturned Foundation, which supports research in children’s health initiatives and serves families of sick children in navigating the medical and school systems. The foundation was established by YSU head football coach Eric Wolford and his wife, Dr. Melinda Wolford, who were inspired by their son Stone, who was diagnosed at age 2 with cardio-facio-cutaneous syndrome, a rare genetic disorder affecting about 300 kids worldwide. Pictured with the check are, from left, Greg Greenwood, Gwen Fabian, Sperry Rongone, Melinda Wolford, Ed Yohman and Coach Wolford.
