Elaine Kollar of Coitsville explains that for the past few years a pair of Mallard ducks have visited their home in the spring. They like the pond that forms at the back of the property from spring rains. With so much rain this year, there are puddles near their house and birdfeeder. The ducks waddle up to the house from the back pond and enjoy the small puddles as well as eat birdseed that has fallen to the ground.
