At the 1997 fair, Gary Hemphill Sr. of North Jackson got to ride on the wagon in the Heinz Hitch attraction. Above, his granddaughter Abby, who was born in May of that year, rides along. Hemphill said Abby is now 13 and hasn't missed one day of the Canfield Fair.
