Hibernian heritage: The Golden Rose Queen of Ireland LAOH Division 6 of Mahoning County had an open house recently for prospective members at the Hibernian Hall, 5110 Southern Blvd., in Boardman. Above, new juniors learn about Ireland’s four provinces and 32 counties. From left to right are Brianna Thompson, Megan Wilson, Cynthia Romeo, Tori Romeo, and Kristin Eckman. The juniors will participate in Ethnic Day at Holy Family Parish on Nov. 21. They will perform Irish dances and sell hand-colored note cards and homemade soda bread.
