Looking forward to greeting women who are interested in meeting people and making friends in new surroundings are officers of the Newcomers, from left, Mary Jane Stevens, treasurer; Kathleen Yap, vice president; Luanna Jacobs, president; and Regina Jenkins, newsletter. The club offers opportunities for women to participate in various social activities such as the Round Towners (which includes husbands), and birthday, needlework and movie groups. The next monthly luncheon meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 27 at A La Cart in Canfield. The speaker will be Janet Loew, director of public relations for Mahoning County Library.
