The Arms Family Museum, 648 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will open its “All Dolled Up” holiday exhibit Dec. 4. The annual display includes items from the Mahoning Valley Historical Society’s collection, as well as loans from private collectors. It features rare, one-of-a-kind, vintage decorations and period lighting. This year’s exhibit showcases dolls and toys. Vignettes in the museum include a village of vintage doll houses, a 9-foot Christmas tree filled with American-made, Shiny Brite glass ornaments and a winter wonderland complete with dolls building a snowman. Also featured are two themed trees by collectors Jerry and Darla Arnold of Beechwood. Their 40-year collection of paper ornaments has been featured in Early American Life magazine and exhibited at the Taft Museum in Cincinnati. The exhibit runs through Jan. 9.
