This 1980 VW Rabbit pickup belongs to Walter Smith of Campbell. It has its original 4-cylinder 1.7 motor with after-market S&S headers and dual exhaust. He purchased the truck in November 2006, and it came from South Carolina, but it was made in Westmoreland, PA. These trucks were built in 1980-83. It was restored mechanically by Scofield's of Warren, and the body and paint work were done by Montgomery's Auto Body in Struthers. He says this is a rare 30-year-old VW that runs like new.
