Support for enrichment program: Warren Junior Women’s League/GFWC raised $1,489 during a “Taste of Trumbull County” fundraiser that took place in April at Candlelite Knolls in Cortland. A check for that amount was presented to its Life Enriching Activities Program (L.E.A.P.), to help support a summer camping program for handicapped youths from 6 to 22 years of age in Trumbull County. Among those attending the 38th annual appreciation luncheon and check presentation July 22 at Howland Middle School were, front row, from left, Britian Ucht, Rockey Maiorca, Julianna Lombardi and Kayla Walker; and second row, James Stewart; Shelby McElravy, league member; Crystal Karcuff; Dorothy Sideropolis, league member; and Peggy Boyd, fundraiser chairwoman, who is passing the check to Renee Maiorca, league member.
