GAME PLAN: Students at St. Patrick School in Hubbard had a goal in mind when they arranged a benefit basketball game for Dec. 18. Above are some of the seventh- and eighth-grade boys and girls as they played the game. The entire student body also became involved in the fundraising event. Each student paid a dollar not to wear a school uniform that day and spent the morning cheering for their favorite players. Family members made a donation at the door when they came to watch the game. As is their tradition, the seventh-and eighth-grade classes donated the proceeds netted from the event to a family from the school that experienced adversity during the past year.
