Special to The Vindicator YOUNG KNITTERS: Students at St. Patrick School in Hubbard are learning a hobby that will make the wintry days warmer for some area residents. Under the tutelage of Elaine Scott, a first-grade teacher, they belong to an after-school knitting club. It meets once a week and is open to all grades and to parents. The youngsters already made seven scarves, which will be donated to the Rescue Mission. Among those enjoying the needlecraft are, from left, Kelly Wydolsky, Kayla Beil, Nicole DeLuca and Carly Siciliano.
