Mickey Koziorynsky, a supervisor in the Youngstown Street Department, guides the framework of the Youngstown New Year’s Eve ball onto the roof of the City Hall Annex building Wednesday at Front and Market streets downtown. The Youngstown Fire Department’s Ladder 22 was used to raise the 6-foot ball onto the roof because it didn’t fit through a third-floor stairwell.
