On a leadership note: During the recent election of the American Federation of Musicians Local 86-242, the following professional musicians, from left to right, were elected for three-year terms: Danny Barber, secretary-treasurer; Del Sinchak, president; and Paul Rossi, vice president. Also elected to the executive board, but not pictured, were Edward Madej, Bob Smrecansky, Rex Taneri and Gerry Dubos. The union’s function is to unite all professional musicians and look after their welfare.
