Nearly 100 descendants of Emidio and Alice Cerimele gathered on July 31 at Fair Park in Canfield for a 50th annual family reunion. Hosting the event were Anne Marie Vujcec, Lynne and Mike Mullins, Carol and Rick Bueno, John and Cyndi Vujcec and Donna and Dan Cornelius. Commemorative T-shirts were made to celebrate the occasion. In addition to a dinner, members of the clan participated in games, and there were relays, water balloons, a piñata, a 50-50 raffle, and an “Italian” auction. A golden theme was used for prizes and decorations, and golden eggs were used for the traditional egg toss. The festivities wound down during a pizza party that evening at the Fairfield Inn in Austintown.
