Young neighborhood volunteers scrape chipped paint and brush on fresh paint to the side of the former Sparkle Market at 2410 Glenwood Ave., Youngstown. James London, president of Idora Neighborhood Association, said the group received a $2,000 grant from the Wean Foundation for this project. He credits his granddaughter, Sierra Hopson, 6, for the mural drawing. The effort also included volunteers from Art Youngstown Inc. and Goodness Grows.
