Special to The Vindicator TAKING STEPS: Canfield Republican Women’s Club will have an annual picnic dinner and auction night at 5:30 p.m. June 4 at McMahon Hall at the MetroParks Experimental Farm in Canfield with Katherine Wolfe in charge. Taking steps to make the fundraiser successful are newly installed officers, from left, Pat Woomer, treasurer; Tricia Potesta, secretary; Michelle Parella, vice president; and Melinda McGowan, president. Potesta and Parella are coordinating a Chinese and live auction that will help raise funds for the club’s Caring for America projects, including support for Fisher House, a compassionate care facility at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
