YOUNGSTOWN Marianne F. Dubiel was born July 10, 1952, to John and Dorothy Dvornekovich in Youngstown and graduated Cardinal Mooney High School 1970.
She wed her husband, William on July 24, 1980, and retired from General Electric in 2004 after 34 years of service.
Marianne passed away peacefully Saturday morning, Feb. 9, 2019, in Cuyahoga County with family at her bedside. Marianne was a beautiful wife and mother with a brilliant smile and contagious laugh. She always put the needs of her family and friends before her own. Marianne loved traveling and going on hikes with her husband, attending baseball games and tennis matches with her sons, and spending time with family and friends. Marianne was a kind, generous person, and the pillar of her family.
She was a life long member of St. Peter and Paul Croatian Catholic Parish.
She is survived by her husband, William Dubiel; two sons, Brian and Alex Dubiel; and two sisters, Karen Toland and Valerie Maderitz.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, John and Dorothy Dvornekovich.
A Mass will be held in her memory at noon on Feb. 14, 2019, at St. Peter and Paul Croatian Catholic Parish, 421 Covington Road in Youngstown.
Memorials are suggested to St. Peter and Paul Croatian Catholic Parish or to the donors charity of choice.
