YOUNGSTOWN – Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, at the Fifth Avenue Community Church for Pierre Jamar McKinney, 21, who departed this life Wednesday, April 25, 2012.

Mr. McKinney was born June 6, 1990, in Youngstown, a son of Richard McKinney and Darlene Bell.

He was a student at Eastway Community College.

He leaves his stepfather, George Jones of Youngstown; a son, Tion Johnson of Warren; a daughter, P’arra Thomas McKinney of Youngstown; four brothers, Lamar, Laneer and Terrence McKinney, all of Youngstown and Richard Phillips of Tennessee; seven sisters, Donnique Jones (Juan Delaney), Marshella Hodge, Shawnda Floyd, Dena Muldrow Byrd, Courtney McKinney and Telena Ford, all of Youngstown and Lakitha Moncrief of Columbus; and his fiancee, Carrie Lewis of Youngstown.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother Sadie Bell, who just died on March 3, of this year; grandfather Earl Williams; uncle John Bell; and two cousins, Markice and Lexus Williams.

Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Arrangements are being handled by the F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home.
