TCBDD celebrates Development Disabilities month

The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities recently celebrated national Developmental Disabilities Month by organizing a charitable campaign, “Spring Forward, Break Children’s Hunger,” in support of Jefferson School in Warren. Participants from TCBDD’s Niles Workshop and Fairhaven Industries collaborated to design several lunch boxes with a personal touch for the children at the school in kindergarten through eighth grade.

Donations of breakfast bars, small boxes of cereal, cans of soup, cans of vegetables, fruit cups, applesauce, instant macaroni and cheese, animal crackers, bottled water and more were collected and given to the school to fill its pantry.
