Saturday — Protestant Family Service 75th annual charity golf tournament at Mahoning Country Club Golf Course. Shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. with lunch served at noon. Cost is $75 per golfer for the four-person, 18-hole scramble. Registration deadline is May 22 — 330-746-4600. Only pre-registered participants can play.
3 — 2019 Northeast Ohio Golf Classic Scramble at Youngstown Country Club to raising awareness and funds for the American Heart Association. The four-person scramble will consist of 18 holes and begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Golfers will receive an 11:30 a.m. lunch, golf carts, refreshments on the course and hors d’oeuvres and an awards reception immediately following play. Cost is $250 per person or $1,000 for a team of four. 8 — Ancient Order of Hibernians Joseph T. Nally Sr. Mahoning County Division 6 at Knoll Run Golf Course. Shotgun start at 1 p.m. Cost is $70 per person. Hole Sponsors cost is $50 & $100 and Lunch & Dinner Sponsors are $250. Four-man scramble format. Fee includes: 18 holes with cart, lunch, steak dinner, beverages and hole prizes. Foursome teams needed (twosomes are accepted and will be randomly paired with other twosomes). All proceeds support local charities. 10 — Tamer Win Golf and Country Club will conduct its Get Golf Ready Junior Camp beginning June 10. Session 1 is June 10-12. Session 2 is June 17-19. Session 3 is July 8-10. 10 — 44th annual On Par With the Best Lawrence County Regional Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing at New Castle Country Club. Cost for a foursome is $750. Individuals are $188. Four-person scramble format. Lunch at 11 a.m., shotgun start at 11:45 a.m. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 5 p.m. Door prizes and a 50/50 drawing are planned. Sponsorship packages are available. 10 — The 26th Annual Brookfield Warrior Golf Scramble at Yankee Run Golf Course. Proceeds will benefit the installation of a set of permanent bleachers for Brookfield Local Schools’ soccer and track area. Teams can sign up for the scramble. Teams are made up of four golfers. Cost is $75 per player. Brookfield staff members pay $35. The cost covers the green fees, a cart, an all-you-can-eat lunch, a goodie bag, prizes, and a dinner catered by Outback Steakhouse. Prices for sponsors are $50 for half a hole and $100 for a full hole. A corporate sponsorship is $750, which includes a free foursome in the scramble, four signs, and sports passes for Brookfield school athletics. 15 — Bill Roux Memorial Scholarship Golf Outing at Knoll Run Golf Course to benefit Potential Development. Registration begins at 7 am with a shotgun start at 8 am.
22 — Girard FIRST Robotics Aptiv Team No. 379 will host the RoboCats 19th annual Golf Outing at Mahoning Country Club. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cost is $55 per person before May 10, $65 from May 10-June 1, and $75 after June 1. Format is a four-person scramble. A hole-in-one contest is planned with the prize a trip to Hawaii. Fee includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and beverages. Prizes will be given. 27 — PTSD Awareness Event at The Links at Firestone Farms. All funds will go to local veterans and their families handled by American Legion Post 290. Will include golf, dinner, bands, car and motorcycle show. Golf is limited to 100 golfers (25 teams). Starts at 8 a.m. at The Links and will end at Legion 44403 on State Route 14 in Columbiana.

28 — Veterans’ Outreach fourth annual Golf Scramble at Mahoning Country Club. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cost is $55 per person and $220 per team before June 10. Fees are $60 per person and $240 per team after June 10. Dinner only is $20. Coffee and donuts will be served in the morning and sausage and chips at the turn.
