Marisa Simon, to be bride of Jaron Howell

Alex and Tina Simon of Poland are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Marisa Simon of Poland to Jaron Howell of Youngstown.

Parents of the prospective groom are Michael and Crystal Lottier of Canfield, and Jimmie Gilmore of Columbus.

Invitations will be extended for the couple’s wedding to take place June 8 at Greater Friendship Baptist Church in Youngstown and for a reception that evening at Blue Wolf Events at The Maronite Center, also in Youngstown.

The bride-elect graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and earned a master’s degree in education from the University of Pennsylvania. She teaches Language Arts at Kirkmere Elementary School.

Mr. Howell graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing and is a commercial territory manager for IGS Energy in Youngstown.
