Suspects in April attack on couple in custody

Members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force on Monday arrested two of three women wanted for a late April attack on a couple who were beaten with furniture and had gasoline poured around their home.

Jazlynn Bulls, 18, of Lee Avenue, and Amaris Gordon, 20, of North Osborn Avenue, were arrested after marshals went looking for them at the Oregon Avenue home of Bulls’ mother, reports said. Reports said the two ran away and were caught on Leo Street on the West Side.

A third suspect, Keyairra Bulls, 20, of Oregon Avenue, is already in custody. Jazlyn and Keyairra Bulls are sisters.

Police responded about 8 p.m. April 28 to a South Side home in the 800 block of Brentwood Avenue for a report of a fight.

When they arrived, the couple living there told them Keyairra Bulls had broken up with the man there and wanted to get inside to retrieve her things. She also was carrying a gas can with her, reports said.

Reports said Jazlynn Bulls went to the garage, got a gas can and threatened to burn the house down. Then the Bulls sisters and Gordon went inside, beat the couple with lamps, among other things, and poured gasoline at the house before leaving, reports said.

Officers said the house was in disarray, smelled of gas and the female victim was bleeding from the face and drifting in and out of consciousness.

Reports said police searched for the three the night of the attack at the house where marshals went Monday, but the women were not there.

The three are charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated arson and assault.

Jazlynn Bulls and Gordon are expected to be arraigned today in municipal court.
