Man will be arraigned Thursday in gas station robbery

WARREN — Ryan N. Rulong, 27, of Sandpiper Trail and Raglan Drive in Howland, will be arraigned Thursday in Warren Municipal Court on aggravated robbery, accused of robbing the True North gas station, 4230 E. Market St., at 3:31 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said Ruling was wearing a black baseball cap and mask when he robbed the gas station at East Market and North Road with a gun, then fled in a white pickup truck with something purple covering the license plate.

Police located and arrested Rulong in a white pickup Ford pickup truck on state Route 11 just north of the Tibbetts Wick exit ramp at 3:36 p.m.
