Auction, raffle to benefit rescue

Farmer Dave’s Gift & Garden Shoppe will host a gift basket auction and 50-50 raffle to benefit F5RS Rescue & Sanctuary from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Davidson’s Restaurant, 3636 Canfield Road. Stitchers to host rummage sale

Schoolhouse Stitchers of Goshen Township will sponsor a rummage, craft and vendor show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 18 at the Goshen Township administration building, westside gymnasium entrance, 14001 South Range Road, state Route 165. Proceeds benefit Stitchers’ service projects and maintaining the organization.

Schoolhouse Stitchers is open to anyone interested in promoting sewing, quilting and/or stitching. Meetings take place the third Thursday of each month at 2 p.m. to open sew and stitch and at 6:30 for a business meeting. For information, email purplekim27@gmail.com.

Mission Night Market is today

Mission Night Market will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Huntington Place Plaza, 1393 Boardman-Canfield Road. Food, drinks and live entertainment will be available. Proceeds benefit Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley. The market will take place the second Friday of each month, today through Oct. 11. The market provides opportunities for local producers to share healthy foods, new businesses to be revealed, musicians to reach other audiences, community groups to share programs and for the community to gather together.
