Wright St. rallies for win at Eastwood Field

Wright State rallied for three late runs to defeat the Youngstown State University baseball team, 9-7, on Sunday at Eastwood Field.
Twice, the Penguins (12-34, 6-15 Horizon League) overcame four-run deficits.
They trailed 4-0 after a first-inning grand slam, and then 6-2 in the fourth inning.
Youngstown State sent the potential winning run to the plate after a pair of one-out walks in the bottom of the ninth inning, but Tristan Haught came in to get consecutive fly outs to preserve the win for Wright State (34-14, 16-8).
The Raiders won the weekend series 2-1 and remain atop the Horizon standings.
Blaze Glenn hit his team-leading ninth home run of the season for the Penguins, and Jeff Wehler and Phillip Glasser had a pair of hits.
For the Raiders, Chase Slone hit a pair of homers, Zach Weatherford hit the grand slam and Damon Dues had three hits.
YSU will focus on final exams and projects the next four days before heading to Chicago for the final road games of the regular season. Game one at UIC will be Friday at 7:35 p.m.
